Introduction to Subledger Accounting (SLA)

Join us for Part One of our Three Part Series hosted by FMT Systems and the OAUG GL SIG.
This session, presented by Rob Zwiebach of Oracle
Corporation, will provide you an overview and introduction to
the SLA module that was introduced in R12. Additionally, we will
discuss the reason why this was introduced to the Oracle
Applications users as the basis for all accounting entries to be
interface to GL.
You'll be introduced to Subledger Accounting, Subledger and General
Ledger Information and conclude with SLA capabilities for
controlling accounting information and the capabilities for
information capture and reconciliation. As we conclude we will
touch on SLA inquiries and reports and then open the session of
questions.
